Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialised by industry and built for the cloud, today announced that integrated design, tooling and manufacturing specialist, Denroy Group has invested in Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine). The application will help enhance planning, service and quality control across the Denroy Group’s companies. The investment will help the mouldings specialist to capitalise on new opportunities and consolidate business growth across the Group. Infor partner, Inforlogic, sold the deal and will support the deployment in 2017.

Having experienced significant growth, particularly in the aerospace market, the Denroy Group undertook a review of its existing operations and concluded that the increased production volumes it was experiencing, alongside a more complex operating environment, required superior ERP capabilities.

The Denroy Group selected Infor CloudSuite Industrial based on a number of areas. The application’s CRM, Project Management, Quality Control and Data Capture capabilities were deemed hugely valuable in helping the manufacturer to provide optimum service levels for its aerospace customers looking for full project management. They will also utilise the Molding Industry Pack providing last mile industry capabilities for advanced resource management. This process can be immensely complex, spanning component design, tool manufacture, component manufacture, through to quality control in order to support traceability and accountability to the most granular detail. To enhance this process further, Denroy also selected Infor Factory Track to capture in-depth shop floor data and inform resource planning going forward. Finally, the ability to connect, access and anaylse everything quickly and easily through a single platform using Infor Xi Technology Platform including Infor ION, Ming.le™, Document Management and Business Intelligence was also key to Denroy’s decision.

The project will be rolled out in three phases, starting with Denman International Limited, the Group’s haircare sales and marketing division, followed by Denroy Plastics Limited, which concentrates on manufacture across a number of sectors including aerospace.

“Our aerospace business is complex with projects spanning the entire lifecycle from design to manufacture,” comments Kevin McNamee, Group Financial Director, Denroy Group. “In the wake of increased demand and rising complexity, we needed an ERP system which could support our current and future requirements, from planning and customer service, to quality control and compliance, an area which is scrutinised with increased rigour all the time.

“The depth of functionality and level of information sharing made possible through Infor CloudSuite Industrial means that we can deliver against the very highest standards at all times, whilst capitalising on opportunities in the market to support our growth strategy. We have been very impressed with the Inforlogic’s business ethos and partnership approach, and have complete confidence in the team as they implement the solution. They understood our business requirements from the very beginning and excelled in the solution design to accommodate our current business processes and expansion plans into our other business sectors”.

“We are very excited at having the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Denroy Group’s business growth strategy. We are confident that the solution will bring immense business benefits to the Denroy Group and look forward to working with their teams as it is rolled out across their businesses” said Paula Yarwood, Business Development, Inforlogic.

“Discrete manufacturing is inherently complex, and continual pressure from customer demands, market volatility and the regulatory landscape mean that this complexity is on the increase,” comments Phil Lewis, European VP of Solutions Consulting, Infor. “Manufacturers’ must leverage their systems to deliver agility and profitability, and through using Infor CloudSuite Industrial, manufacturers can have confidence in their ability to deliver against customer demands diligently and profitably.”
