Getronics has appointed Fede Barreto as Global Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of its Board of Management. Barreto is the latest in a series of senior management appointments by Chairman and Group CEO Nana Baffour, as he continues to execute his vision of making Getronics the world’s preferred partner for business transformation.
Fede brings a wealth of experience both in maximising the impact of business partnerships and collaboration to improve financial results and in providing the best quality to customers and generating enterprise value. Fede, who will lead Getronics’ entire global finance team, embarks on a mission to accelerate growth while focusing on financial discipline, higher margins and cash management.

For the six years prior to joining Getronics, Barreto was CFO and EVP at Sony DADC Americas, a division of Sony Corporation, having joined in 2010 as VP Finance. At Sony, he was the finance leader and a member of the executive team that was responsible for defining and executing the company’s strategy in the Americas region. He previously spent 15 years in the Pharmaceutical industry of which almost a decade was at Schering-Plough (now Merck) and Warner Lambert (now Pfizer) working in many areas and in different countries.
Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English, Barreto holds an MBA from Rutgers Business School, USA, and a BA in Economics, Philosophy and Financial Management from Ohio Wesleyan University, USA.
