Voxware, a leading provider of cloud-based voice and analytic supply chain solutions, today announced the general availability of Voxware Voice Management Suite (VMS) 2019. Attendees of ProMat 2019 have the opportunity to learn first-hand about VMS 2019 by visiting Voxware in booth S3975.
In addition to VMS 2019, ProMat 2019 attendees can experience the benefits of Voxware Augmented Reality (AR) in three sample scenarios: kit assembly, order picking and order packing as part of the Voxware Virtual Reality Experience. Voxware will also host two educational seminars featuring Dawn Fritche, Director of Operations for Haggar Clothing Co. Her presentation, “Priority #1 – How to Master the Omnichannel Experience,” will take place Tuesday, April 9 at 12:00pm in Theater A and also on Wednesday, April 10 at 12:00pm in Theater I. Dawn will be giving a modified presentation in the Voxware booth (S3975) on Tuesday and Wednesday at 2:00pm.
“Our ProMat 2019 guests are going to enjoy the time they invest visiting with us this year,” said Keith Phillips, President and CEO of Voxware. “One of the main drivers of our success is that we continue to innovate the industry’s leading voice solution and add new capabilities to further support distribution teams striving to run a more efficient operation. The advancements in VMS 2019 are no exception and we’re excited to debut them at ProMat.”
Companies rely on Voxware VMS to improve speed, accuracy and efficiency across all functions and workflows in the distribution center. Using Voxware VMS, customers realize immediate improvements in accuracy, double-digit productivity gains, reduced labor and operating expenses and complete visibility into the entire distribution operations through VoxPilot.
Voxware has added a number of functional enhancements to Voxware VMS 2019, beginning with a new workflow to support containerization. A proprietary algorithm gives users accurate information to build a logical carton or pallet and rounds out full support to all workflows in the distribution center – from receiving to put-away to packing. It provides companies with a picking sequence so the right products go in the carton or on the pallet in the correct manner so there is no longer a need to rely on the traditional, inefficient and less profitable ways of the past. Other functional advancements include improved capabilities of the off-line mode feature to allow workers to move seamlessly throughout the warehouse without concern for network connectivity. This will improve picker productivity under adverse network conditions.
VMS 2019 also provides an upgraded technology environment including support for Java 11. The platform strengthens encryption between devices and management consoles and the Voxware cloud, giving users an added layer of security.
Voxware VMS 2019 is available today through Voxware’s unique SaaS offering, which makes it much easier for companies to adopt new, innovative solutions while also keeping them on the latest hardware and software.
