With the world changing at a rapid pace, and with an increasing focus on emissions and air quality, alternative fuel vehicles have the potential to be a game changer for manufacturers and fleet operators alike.
In his conference address, The Clean Revolution – How eMobility Changes Urban Logistics, at the Microlise Transport Conference this May, Head of Alternative Drives at MAN Truck & Bus GmbH, Felix Kybart, will provide an outlook on eMobility for commercial vehicles. The presentation will examine issues such as charging and fleet management, and set out his vision for the future. He will also discuss MAN’s experience of eTrucks, drawing on findings from the use of eMobility vehicles in both Austria and Germany.
Kybart is convinced that the future of the logistics industry is closely linked to our changing urban environment. “The widespread acceptance of alternative fuels is of critical importance to the business over the next ten to fifteen years, so it is imperative that we, as business leaders, continue to innovate and break down the barriers that are causing slow adoption rates for alternative fuel vehicles.”
“It’s a privilege to share the stage at the conference with forward-thinkers who challenge us all to think about critical issues such as air quality emissions and the practical issues involved in utilising alternative fuel vehicles,” said Microlise Chief Executive Officer, Nadeem Raza, “The pressure on the industry is very real and we welcome Mr Kybart and MAN’s e-truck research findings.”
The Microlise Transport Conference, now a key date in the annual logistics calendar and the largest event of its kind in Europe, welcomes in excess of 1,200 delegates to The Ricoh Arena on 15th May 2019.
Along with Felix Kybart, the agenda features an impressive line-up of speakers who will examine the major topics affecting the road transport business. The programme includes four focused workshops, access to 50 innovative exhibitors and a host of networking opportunities.
