ChatGPT launches new subscription offering

ChatGPT is one of many businesses in our current climate turning to subscription models in a bid to remain resilient. By offering its customers the chance to receive premium access to the platform, even during busy periods, and giving priority access to new features, the company is levelling up its offering.

However, with a $20-a-month price tag, ChatGPT will need to ensure that this new subscription offering continues to provide value to its existing customers. The key will be to remain flexible. After all, we’re living in economically challenging times and people are feeling the pinch. Services that do not provide value are at risk of being cancelled.

As the chatbot only launched in November last year, it still needs to prove its longevity. A subscription model could be the key to doing so as it will provide the company with valuable customer data which can be used to build lasting relationships and reduce churn.
