Infor and Anthesis Showcase Food & Beverage Expertise at Foodex Manufacturing Solutions

Infor^®, the industry cloud company, today announced its participation in Foodex Manufacturing Solutions, the UK’s leading trade event for the food and drink processing, packaging and logistics industries set for 24-26 April at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. Infor will be participating with Anthesis, a long-standing Infor partner with deep experience in the food and beverage sector, at stand H130, Digital Transformation Lounge.

Visitors to the show will learn how Infor’s range of solutions for the food and beverage industry is helping organisations innovate and increase productivity, enhancing transparency across the supply chain and boosting business agility whilst laying the foundations for growth.

Alongside its enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution for the food and beverage sector, Infor will be discussing the role of machine learning in the industry. Andrew Dalziel, Infor VP industry and solution strategy (pictured left), will be giving a presentation on artificial intelligence (AI), asking whether it’s science fiction or fact. During this session in the Food Manufacture Live theatre (12.15 – 1pm, Monday 24 April), Dalziel will be looking at how machine learning is vitally important for the food and beverage sector, playing a key role in helping businesses to do more with less. Drawing on actual use cases, highlighting where AI is already delivering significant business value to many organisations, Andrew will explain how food and beverage businesses can successfully implement AI and machine learning technologies.
