Quod Orbis, a leader in cybersecurity and Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM), has announced its inclusion in the latest Gartner® report, “Innovation Insight: Cybersecurity Continuous Control Monitoring.” The report highlights the importance of Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) and the growing interest in the technology as organisations seek to improve the productivity of security and risk teams, reduce the cost of monitoring and improve the alignment of security to business objectives.
Key findings from the report include:
- The growing breadth and depth of security and compliance requirements is increasing pressure on security and risk management (SRM) leaders and IT operational teams involved in testing and reporting on the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls.
- Increased attack surfaces due to cloud adoption and new digital business are making security assurance tasks even more arduous, error-prone and incomplete than before.
- Security organisations lack the capabilities to continuously monitor and measure the effectiveness of controls. This lowers the value of those controls.
“As a solution built around the idea of ‘any data source, any framework and any control’, we are very encouraged by our inclusion in this report,” said Martin Greenfield, CEO, Quod Orbis. “Gartner rightfully identifies that the data sources used by security leaders are crucial for successful deployment of CCM solutions, and that CCM must automatically pull and refresh data from multiple on-premises IT, security systems and clouds. Our ability to address this so comprehensively has been a crucial element in our early success.”
